The system was originally set to a default voltage of 1.185V, but after undervolting it to 1.075V, the performance remained stable at 4100MHz during stress tests. However, when using the general PC, you notice more stuttering. This could be due to differences in how the motherboard or BIOS handles voltage adjustments under load, or possibly variations in thermal management and power delivery affecting overall responsiveness.
It seems there might be some instability issues. The motherboard CPU or power supply unit could be the cause, but we can't be certain. Version 1.18 works well with the 8600K, so it's safe to say it's a solid choice.
It's getting quite hot, around 75 degrees, so I thought it would run a bit cooler. But honestly, I guess I'll just reset it back to the default settings.
I adjusted the voltage by 0.10, changing from 1.075 to 1.085. The stutter disappeared completely. Everything looks normal again.
We're all in this together! I adjusted the under-voltage settings on my i7 6700 and faced the same issue you mentioned. It seems I hit a similar level of -0.10.
Haha, my battery is at 1.185 volts. I thought to maintain 1 volt. Windows didn't start at all—only starting at 1.075 volts. I settled on 1.085 volts because it stutters less, but still does. Eventually, the lowest voltage that works without stuttering is about 1.10 volts (a bit lower than stock). Correction... still a bit stuttering. I quit anyway.
