I prefer not to rely on external services, but I plan to give it a try. I’m hoping it will function properly.
In QuickCpu enable power-saving mode and position the blue "Set as Active" button just to the right of the dropdown. You don’t need to click apply. At the bottom, move all sliders to the left to 0% then press apply. Confirm the action if it works.
Also, the percentage remains unchanged at 3.3GHz despite that.
I enabled power saving mode, which reduced the speed to 1.65GHz, but it no longer exceeds that level.
Identify the problem by checking the BIOS and adjusting default settings. Ensure the CPU reduces power when idle (under 2% usage). If it doesn’t, review BIOS or Windows/program configurations. If it works, verify system readiness or program-related issues.
bios is currently set as the default. quickscheme is paused at 3.3GHz.
