I succeeded in overclocking my 5600x at 4.2GHz with 1.025V, but only Ryzen Master displays real-time core speeds and it stays below 3.7GHz during games. Stress tests push cores to 4.2GHz. My goal is to create an OC with power-saving features. My old CPU was 6700k, I overclocked it to 4.5GHz at 1.28V, but it idled at 1-2GHz. Now my 5600x consistently shows 4.2GHz. CPU-Z, hwinfo64, AIDA64 all report 4.2GHz except Ryzen Master. What’s going wrong? Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro Help?
To manage throttling, remove performance mode and opt for balanced or power-saving settings. This will cause the system to lower its power usage. Overclocking still works well; the CPU consumes minimal energy when idle, maintaining frequency while keeping cores in park. For finer control, consider using QuickCpu to adjust performance, clock speed, boost scaling, and core parking options.
I didn't specify balanced mode, but it limits CPU usage to 10% minimum and 100% maximum.

I tried this, but it only lowers the clock to 3.3GHz now. I need around 1-2GHz idle, but it hasn’t worked.
