I'm hoping to begin broadcasting at 1080p with a frame rate of 60. However, I’ve seen information suggesting that having a secondary computer would be preferable. Therefore, I’m considering purchasing a second PC consisting of a Ryzen 3 2200G processor, 8GB of RAM, and a GTX 1050 Ti, alongside my existing PC which has a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM, and an RTX 1660. Will I genuinely require a second computer to stream at 1080p 60fps? If not, will the supplementary PC be sufficient for a dual-PC configuration?
It’s improved, however, given the cost, you would be wiser to upgrade your existing computer. A dual setup isn't necessary for streaming; it simply offers a slight advantage by reducing strain on the primary system.
It’s improved, but frankly, at this cost, you’d be wiser investing in an upgrade for your standalone computer. A dual setup isn't necessary for streaming; it simply offers a slight benefit by reducing strain on the primary system.
Which one should I improve first: my central processing unit or graphics card?
A graphics card. Ideally an NVIDIA one to enable hardware encoding on the GPU. Choose what fits your budget; a 3600 will limit the performance of a 2080 Super or higher, though primarily in certain games.
