Hi, looking for guidance on purchasing a sub £300 Windows 10 laptop. You already have a Chromebook and need a device suitable for web browsing, low-end emulators, and Minecraft. The Gemini IV from PC Specialist (https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/gemini-IV/) is a good option at £224 with a N4100 Celeron and 4GB RAM. You're also interested in a laptop with a solid 1080p display. Anyone know if there are better deals available? Thanks.

For Minecraft, a low-end setup might work well at reduced settings, and adding the low spec OptiFine mod could help. It's usually better to purchase a used machine with superior specifications than a budget new laptop. I prefer the Lenovo T series for models between 2-300, and the T440 or T450 are available in that price range.
