I've noticed issues with lag and stuttering during frame drops in some games, but I'm unsure what's causing it.

Well here is something that can assist, if you have two monitors (it's okay if you don't) open up task manager. Navigate to the process tab and run it while playing the game. Check the details and observe how each resource is being utilized. For instance, if your CPU remains at 100% continuously, there might be an issue.

I used msi afterburner and this is what I got. The gpu usage is jumping around a lot thought is this normal?
