: Stuttering in Valorant?
: Stuttering in Valorant?
Hi everyone, just seeking some guidance.
Current specs: MBD ASRock b560 pro 4, i5-11400F 11th gen, Zotac RTX 2060 6GB, 32GB DDR4 3600mhz RAM, 1TB M.2 SSD, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Cronus power supply 500W.
Former GPU was an Asus GTX 1070.
I’m experiencing small stutters in Valorant despite updated drivers. It’s happening at both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. The fans keep spinning a lot—does that sound normal for this card? Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks!
I omitted the details about your PSU make and model, its age, and motherboard specifications. The brand is ASRock, the series is Pro, and the motherboard model is unspecified. BIOS version is also unclear. Regarding the GPU, I haven’t received the RTX 2060 yet, and the fans spinning is unusual for this card. Was it an upgrade from a previous model? If yes, what was the previous one? I’m experiencing small stutters while playing Valorant; drivers are up to date but still stuttering at 1080p and 1440p. The cause needs clarification. Did you use DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers before installing the latest driver from Nvidia’s support site via an elevated command?
Hey there, just wanted to let you know about my setup. I have an ASRock B560 Pro 4 board, a PSU called Cronus with a 500-watt rating and 80 Plus Bronze certification. My previous graphics card was a GTX 1070, but I didn’t uninstall the drivers—just updated them, as I remember.
