The monitor is quite outdated, a Samsung Syncmaster T200 running at 60Hz. I haven't used DDU.

Try giving DDU a go. It might resolve the problem and let you install the newest drivers again.

I tried DDU and discovered a significant improvement, 2-year-old NVIDIA drivers perform better than these new ones. Who would have guessed? So yes, I believe the stuttering isn't as severe as before or possibly has improved.

However, I don't think I have the NVIDIA control panel, since I've installed these drivers on Windows 10. Perhaps I should look for some updated ones instead.
