I've assembled two distinct PCs recently. The first one I sold had stuttering issues in games, which is why I upgraded to the second model with identical monitors and peripherals. During the initial weeks of the first build, everything ran smoothly—no stuttering now. However, after a couple of weeks, frame rates dropped and I noticed performance problems. I’ve recorded specs from both builds: the first used an R7 5700X with Gigabyte B550M-K A400, 3600MHz RAM, and a 1TB PSU; the second featured an Intel i5-12600K with B660 chipset, Wi-Fi II D4, and similar components. I’ve seen stuttering and frame time issues on both machines, but only from the second build’s benchmarks. Any suggestions for what might be causing this?

Check if XMP is activated and ensure your GPU drivers are up to date.

It seems you likely kept the same RTX 3060? That’s probably your main concern. Both setups are functional, but the 3060 is outdated. Consider selling it for some value and upgrade to a better GPU like the 6650XT—cheaper and significantly faster.

Among all components I mentioned, I overlooked the GPU. Initial setup was 4060, then upgraded to 3060.
