Stuttering in fast-paced games with high frames per second
When playing high FPS games, I sometimes experience strange stuttering. My setup includes a Radeon VII, a Ryzen 3800X, 16GB 3600 CL16 with fabric to 1800, and NVMe drives. The games I play are Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, Lost Ark Ru, and The Outer World. I haven't noticed stutters in those titles. Please let me know if you need more details.

It's just slight fps reductions, around 2-5 frames per second, but it still feels quite slow. I'm using a 1440p display at 144hz over DP. I'm not sure if the difference in cables between DP 1.4 and 1.2 matters. I'm monitoring with afterburner, but I've also tried Radeon monitoring too. The frames stay around average, over 120. People mention that on these x570 models, certain memory timings can be tricky and a bit unstable. Could that be the reason?
