Stuck at load VGA bios
Stuck at load VGA bios
I experienced frequent stutters during gameplay and wanted to understand the cause. Noted that my motherboard (ASUS Deluxe II) had a recent BIOS update that resolved performance and stability problems. I upgraded the BIOS successfully, receiving confirmation it was installed correctly. However, the system prompted to restart. Now I’m stuck with a "load vga bios" error on the BIOS menu—pressing DEL or F2 doesn’t work. The only workaround is powering off the PC, removing the CMOS battery, and restarting again, which this time bypasses the VGA code scan and restarts the BIOS setup with default settings. After saving changes and rebooting, I still encounter the same issue at load vga bios.
Recent changes affected the PCIE slot; removing the VGA caused boot issues but no display output. After adjusting the GPA setting, Windows restarted with the VGA back on, allowing full access. I rebooted to configure BIOS settings and fan adjustments, saved the changes, then ran "load vga bios" again.
Hi, it's been a while but I think I just went back to the earlier bios and everything worked well then. I'm no longer using this site; I moved to 10900k / z490 since the extra capacity of the x299 wasn't necessary anymore. I understand it can be bothersome, especially given how costly the ASUS platform is. The support seems to be lacking, which is frustrating.
