Ensure multi-core usage is turned on in the settings. Panorama disables it by default; if it shows enabled, turn it off, save, then re-enable and save again.

It hasn't been long since I last played GMod, even with lots of mods it worked fine. Interestingly, I played on a 4K TV and it handled everything smoothly.

Already verified and functioning, though it remains unaffected whether powered on or off. Additionally, increasing both GPU and CPU frequencies had no impact.

Yeah, and that's how most Source games should be except for * shivers * Team Fortress 2. Yeah, just seems like a weird issue with the card. What resolution are you targeting here? I'd try to see if targeting higher resolutions in CS:GO specifically helps.

I own a 21:9 LG monitor with a 2560x1080 resolution connected via DisplayPort. I’m completely unsure because the card performs excellently under heavy loads and with other Source titles. I’ve also heard CSGO is quite CPU-heavy, but my system has an 8700k without an integrated GPU and it’s running at a high clock speed, so I’m not sure what to expect.

The game relies heavily on CPU processing, yet low scores aren't inevitable. Experiment with CPU affinity in Task Manager; assign CS the final four CPU threads.

I don't understand how to do it, but I'll give it a shot.

I'm using a Vivaldi tab to illustrate the steps. Open the Details section in Task Manager, locate "csgo.exe" (or hl2.exe for Half-Life 2 and CS:Source), right-click, and select Set affinity to allocate the last four CPU threads. For a Ryzen 7 1700X, this would correspond to "CPU 12-15," though the exact allocation will vary.

It just got worse, struggling to reach 100 FPS.

Ouch, alright. Alright, I'm kinda out of ideas, then.
