Hello, I own a Strix Z690 F motherboard with a 13900k CPU. After updating my BIOS to 2204 in December, I began experiencing bluescreens and problems with my NVMe drives. I use two Gen 3 drives and one 990 S Samsung Pro 1TB. It turned out that without the 990 Pro Windows it worked well on the Gen 3 drive, so I bought another 980 S Samsung Pro. However, it still had issues copying data and frequent bluescreening. Are others facing similar problems with these boards and NVMe 4.0? Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.

I own the newest ASUS model, but I’m curious about PD firmware. All storage devices are functioning perfectly—actually, the 990 Pro is just a month old.

I noticed Pd now... I didn't update it. What is its purpose? It might have actually helped me a lot—this has been really confusing for two weeks.

USB PD is USB Power Delivery. Also, there's the ALC4080/ALC4082 audio FW update tool release there too. That updates the Audio codec.

There are four options available. Would you like to install all of them?

Similar to any other driver, you simply upgrade to the newest version.

Descriptions seem a bit unclear from the Asus side. I’m hoping this fixes my problem.

I tried nothing and started to fear my crucial information might be lost. I received a new z790 board and submitted it for warranty.
