About a year ago I began working on a project using a Strix B450-F with a mobo and an R5 2400G APU. It's remained trouble-free, but I've consistently observed the mobo temperatures around 94°C and the CPU voltages were unusually high (around 1.35 to 1.4V at stock). Recently I got a new graphics card and the board began showing up on the red post LED—it lacks a readout display. My mouse and keyboard weren't receiving power either. The manual indicates red means a CPU problem, so I assumed it was the card not fitting well. I removed it, tried it again, and after resetting the CMOS jumper, everything worked—board lit up green! The manual only mentioned boot issues, which didn’t help. Now I’ve reinserted the card, shorted the CMOS jumper once more, but it’s back to red again. Asus says I’ve already filed a return request, but their support line is closed due to COVID-19. Does this suggest a CPU or board fault?
