Stress test Crash
Stress test Crash
Hello everyone, I have a query about my GPU's overclocking capabilities. I recently ran some benchmarks using 3DMark, Valley, and Heaven, which were handling well with slight overclocking. I then attempted to push it further by using MSI Kombustor with extra memory and core clocks, but it seemed to handle stress for around five minutes. After that, I switched to the benchmark tests on these updated software versions, and each one ended up freezing or displaying a black screen. Is there a solution to this issue? Should I revert to the previous overclock setting that worked reliably with those tests?
P.S. During testing with MSI's Kombustor and the new OC, my system crashed during the benchmark runs. The game itself remained stable. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Not losing any performance by lowering your OC to a stable state or reverting to defaults is unnecessary. The issue isn't a crash but reduced performance on your system. To maintain stability, simply reduce the OC. If you want to test your OC further, upgrade your hardware.
You won't experience any loss in performance by lowering your OC to a stable state or even reverting to defaults. The reason the game doesn't crash is that it requires less performance from your system. You're already aware of this, so reducing the OC helps maintain stability. If you want to test your OC further, think about upgrading your hardware. Thanks for reaching out for confirmation.
