I have a 5800x3D on an x570s Aorus Master. Whenever I stress test the cpu it instantly jump to 89-90 and stays there for the duration. In a gaming scenario like say Doom Eternal the CPU is around 65 plus or minus a few degrees. I've tried this with a 240 AIO from ID-COOLING (tried using Arctic and Noctua fans on it) , and another dual towercooler from Johnsbo that kept a 5800x under 65 when I stress tested it. I'm using the trusty MX-4 paste for all this. So my question is: is this normal or is this an issue, I want to give this PC to someone whos still gaming on a gen3 i7 with an rx580. I have to mention that both coolers are used , so no peel, and were properly tightened down, and when testing I've not felt the coolers themselves get other the lukewarm anywhere else cept above the socket. The rest of the hardware is: Lancool 207 (Tried open and closed runs, added 1 120 exaust at rear.) Sparcle B580 Gskil 4x 16Gb 3600 FSP Hydro G 750W Hope I'm not forgetting anything.

It's an x3D CPU during a trial specifically created to test the CPU up to its limits.

It’s better to stick with the same board CPU to determine if the problem lies with the CPU or the motherboard.

The CPU operates very hot due to the additional 3D cache placed above the die, which acts as a barrier and raises temperatures during heavy use.
