I have a concept that involves streaming a Steam game via AWS. My plan is to leverage student discounts for free credits, which vary by institution and cost per year. Instead of upgrading my hardware for VR compatibility, I’ll rely on AWS to host the VR experience. The main expense would be the streaming service itself.

Yes, it's possible to achieve under 20ms latency from head movement to the display.

It probably depends on your distance from the data center.

Probably not, you don't need to be inside the data center to get that.

Very unlikely this will succeed. The delay will be too high to tolerate. Streaming at 90fps isn't realistic either.

This concept sounds problematic—it could trigger motion sickness, VR isn't budget-friendly, and without a decent gaming PC and headset it's probably out of reach. You might consider financing through services like PayPal or similar platforms, but you'd still face ongoing costs for the equipment.
