I faced a strange problem while playing OW2 on Discord. The stream initially worked, but once the game loaded into the loading screen and just before hero selection it went black. This happened in XSplit too. It’s odd because a friend logging into my account on another PC could stream without issues. I’ve reset settings, reinstalled the game and Windows, updated drivers, and even tried running Discord as admin. Still no solution. Blizzard support suggested just contacting Discord and closed the ticket.

currently playing O2 with Obs, everything works perfectly. My friend just uses Obs? (streaming to YouTube because it delivers high bitrate at 1440p, I don’t think they’d use Discord for that) Could you share more details about what you’re doing and why? This post needs more information.

Discord might be limiting previews to save bandwidth. Yes, you can send OBS output to Discord and it will work.

It's not only the preview that's empty—people watching can't see anything. I think Discord might be the issue. If I switch to another server, it should work. Coming back to my original server now it does fine. What's going on?
