Consider your needs and budget. Ryzen offers strong performance for gaming and productivity, while Xeon excels in heavy computing tasks. Choose based on what you plan to use most.

I’ll focus on that Ryzen instead of the Xeon, considering the price, and the Ryzen performs better for most tasks.

What system are you using? Are you setting up a new computer? I'm ready to stream with NVENC encoder.

I don’t want anything from Nvenc. It’s not what I need.

It seems similar to the x264 medium format, but there might be issues. You’re asking why you need a dedicated streaming PC and want a separate one.

I ran nvenc on this machine and it runs smoothly without lag. The frame rate and refresh rate stay stable, and using x264 at any setting gives a clear stream without noticeable choppiness. I prefer the monitor's original refresh rate of 144Hz.

The problem with nvenc is unclear—why avoid it? Consider adjusting x264 parameters, such as reducing the CPU usage.

nvenc looks more vibrant, I've adjusted the settings but it still doesn't improve. Using x264 with high speed doesn't change that either.

What are the encoding options? They should feel similar to fast or medium. Bitrate, frames per second, and resolution? They’re pretty much the same. If you’re not earning from the stream, you don’t need to go higher—viewers won’t pick up the difference.
