Hello, I need a method to broadcast your PC games from your gaming setup in the office to other TVs connected via your wired home network. You have a Surface Pro 3 that supports streaming Steam titles, but certain games like Far Cry 4, AC: Unity, Battlefield 3 & 4, uPlay and Origin don’t work well with Remote Desktop for Windows. I’m sure your connection is fast enough for smooth streaming. Have you considered other options besides Steam In-Home Streaming? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Streaming works directly from the host PC's display. If needed, you can switch tabs and play another game or app outside Steam, and it should continue streaming. This behavior isn't intended, but it happens.

Are you sure about this? I haven’t heard of full controller support through this method before.

In games where controllers are fully supported, it's likely to work well.

I’ll definitely give it a shot when I get home this evening. Thanks.

I don’t recall whether the alt-tab works on the PC or needs to be handled on the host. It’s been a while since I attempted it. If it’s limited to the host, that adds another hassle, but it should still work.

If it functions, I’ll treat it as a temporary solution. That shouldn’t cause any issues. I’m just hoping the wireless Xbox 360 with receiver will connect properly to the SP3 client.
