I'm running a game open and watching a video on another screen. It doesn't matter if it's YouTube or a file—even Facebook videos work. The video keeps lagging, but the audio stays. When I switch back, it jumps to normal speed. I have the latest drivers installed, so I'm not sure what's causing this issue. 5700xd 1070 Win 11

Win 11 was recently updated, yet the problem didn't appear right away. It took some time before the issue began, so I'm not sure it's connected.

No other ideas come to mind. Were you adjusting any configurations or interacting with the Nvidia control panel? Does the issue remain consistent across different browsers? Try switching to another user account in Windows to determine if the problem persists.

Nothing really. I'll switch profiles later. Perhaps I should run a DDU and do a driver refresh.

DDU is a solid beginning, though I think this relates to the broader Windows Prioritizing Games concept. There’s likely a method to turn it off, but it could slightly affect frame rates. A fresh installation might be necessary, since updating Windows can sometimes lead to unexpected issues.
