I've tested streaming at home and the i5 is a reliable choice, though the i3 could work too.

I have two options, both great. If you're worried about wireless performance, you can get an Ethernet adapter from Monoprice for 14 dollars. For different uses, consider the Surface if you're working on a tablet for productivity, or the SHIELD Tab if you have an Nvidia graphics card and need a portable console experience.
