I can really lower TRFC below 400 without the symptoms getting worse or better. I’m just testing it at a higher level to see what happens. It’s unclear if TRD could help, since it only tracks total time for trcd and trp.

From what I've observed, AMD systems such as trc tend to lose stability at higher speeds. Memory PCBs generally perform better with a 2T command rate, like the A2 type used by my Bdies. Beyond that frequency point (around 400+ MHz), 2TCR becomes more suitable. Adjusting memory settings can take weeks of experimentation. I can only suggest testing different configurations.

Determined it was either trdwr, trc or trtp that reached 3733mhz. Dram value 3733mhz equals 1.40v VDDG ccd =1.00v VDDG iod =1.00v. Tcl settings: 15 trcdwr, 15 trcdrd, 16 trp, 15 tras 34 trc, 60 trrds, 6 trrdl, 9 tfaw, 26 twtrs, 4 twtrl, 14 twr, 26 trdrdscl. Tfc: 4 twrwrscl, 4 trfc, 370 trfc2, 270 trfc4, 166 tcwl, 14/auto, trtp 12 trdwr, 14 twrrd, 1 twrwrsc, 1 twrwrsd, 7 twrwrdd, 7 trdrdsc, 1 trdrdsd, 5 trdrddd, 5 tcke. Command Rate: 1T, power down mode DISABLED, gear down mode DISABLED, bank group swap= BGS alt procODT, auto.

They're suggesting you begin fresh again. Your voltage seems unusually high—your RAM runs at 1.35V, and the motherboard range is between 3200 and 3600V. That matches what you'd expect from XMP settings, but it's disabled. Have you tried enabling XMP? How does it perform? Also, your temperatures are quite high; I suspect your TROC is elevated. I'll need to investigate further, though—I still doubt your motherboard can handle more modifications (MSI B350 MORTAR with questionable BIOS).

To trigger an irregular latency, you must turn off gear down or the board will enforce an even number latency, which is typically more than the intended timing.

I typically disable 2T GDm even with odd cas, but keep it tighter elsewhere. I wondered if he noticed any actual improvements since I haven’t taken that route. I struggle with straight 1T as well.

The adjustment in timing won't significantly impact results. A shift like this is less than 1% of the overall effect.
