Hello, welcome! I understand this might not be the right spot, but I'm here to help. You're experiencing issues with your ASUS Zenith II Threadripper 3960x where the motherboard lights up but the OLED shows "Memory Error C6" and then "Memory Test." It doesn't reach BIOS and the GPU stays on high speed. The error code appears in manuals, support sites, and forums, yet you can't find a solution. Your RAM is Corsair Vengeance DDR4 and works fine elsewhere. You've tried resetting the CPU, using different RAM sticks, flushing CMOS, testing the GPU in other slots, and changing power cables—still getting the same code. Anyone know what might be causing this? It's frustrating since you haven't had a motherboard or processor fail before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I experienced memory issues with my Zenith model, likely due to a corrupted BIOS. Have you considered using BIOS Flashback to re-flash it? Also, do you have additional RAM available for testing?

It's a brand new, top-tier consumer motherboard paired with a brand new enterprise chip. I'm not surprised you're not finding much info online—there simply isn't much data available. Reaching out to manufacturers can be tough, especially around the holidays. QVL rankings aren't always crucial, but they might still be relevant for your situation. Does your QVL memory appear on the list?

Hey team! @Den-Fi didn't upload the board and display the BIOS with those memory error codes. Fingers crossed a reflash helps. It's tough to get details, but ASUS usually doesn't push back much. The RAM isn't listed, yet many system builders bundle them—so it might be fixable. I'm not ready to file a return because I think everything should work fine. My concern is the CPU pins; this chip and motherboard have a lot of them. Hopefully it's a firmware problem.

I completed my Zenith model. The Zenith II performed perfectly with the Trident-Z Neo 3600 CL16.

So, performed a BIOS flashback the the latest BIOS and still having the same issue... This elusive "Memory Code C6" followed by "Memory Test". There has been a slight change in behaviour though... It now cycles to "Memory Code 14" and "Memory Code 15", powers off, then returns to "Memory Code C6"... Was hoping that would be the fix Any other thoughts from readers would be much appreciated
