I have carefully checked my liquid cooled Gtx 970 @1454mhz with an OC of 100mhz and it appears stable until I start the new Prey game, which then crashes after about 20 minutes.
It’s unusual because other games that push the GPU clock usually stay stable with the same OC, but Prey never goes beyond 1100mhz and crashes too.
I don’t understand why my temperatures rarely go above 45°C while playing this game either.
Any suggestions?

I have carefully checked my liquid cooled Gtx 970 @1454mhz with an OC of 100mhz and it appears stable until I start the new Prey game, which then crashes after about 20 minutes. It's unusual because other games that use the full GPU clock and engage the OC stay stable, but Prey only reaches around 1100mhz and crashes. I can't understand why my temperatures never go above 45°C with this game either. Any suggestions? Try a different driver... roll back and test several others to see if it helps.

Yes, I agree—I'll give it another shot with a different driver. Thanks for the support.
