I recently played Arkham Night with my GTX 970 about a month ago, but I was away when it came out. I heard many complaints about it, so when I got home a few days later, I didn’t even try to install it. This morning I finally did, but the game won’t even launch—just Windows loading. I can hear everything, but nothing else. Hasn’t this been going on for 2–3 weeks? What’s happening with Rock Steady?

Rocksteady wasn't responsible for the PC release. The WB team assigned a different developer to handle that project, likely because Rocksteady didn't prioritize PC development (at least according to what I learned).

They're hard at work trying to bring the game back down in price, right? Apparently, both the developers and WB have teams involved, and it seems the situation was really poor—it won't be available again until late fall 2015.

I’ll have to follow what @nekomata mentioned. It’s been 20 days since the release... From what I understand, the only action they took was halting sales of the game.
