Hello. Your Ubuntu version is limited to 5.2GB of space. You're using a dual boot setup with Windows 8, running Ubuntu 16.04. Laptop details: Lenovo Yoga 3 - Core M processor, 500GB SSD, and 8GB RAM. You only have 5.2GB allocated for the partition and still have 6MB free. Let me know if you need help.

Ensure sufficient area was reserved for the OS installation. Proceed with a fresh setup and assign additional space to Ubuntu.

You set up the installation by default with a distinct boot and home partition. For my setup, I combined them into a single partition. Aim for at least 30 gigabytes; it should comfortably cover testing needs.

Avoid this approach. Running it on Ubuntu might cause issues. Using Windows could lead to problems.

They have just finished setting it up, so I think there’s not much there.
I’ve done this myself a few times about four times, and nothing bad happened.

Ubuntu tends to cause issues by reducing the size of window partitions more often than increasing them.

The feature isn't available in the default setup. Installing it usually leads to automatic installation on top of your existing Ubuntu version, or you can create a custom partition if needed.

I located the disk partitions, but editing isn't possible from there. It's not about sizes or any of them.
