Storage issue when saving data because the application lacks administrative privileges.
Earlier I could download updates from Steam and other gaming sites without needing admin rights, but now I’m forced to run them as administrator when an update is available. Games function properly without admin access, only during the update process. I need a solution so I can install updates freely on my hard drive without having to launch the program with elevated privileges. For instance, a popular browser for Modern Warfare Remastered (2017) called H1 requires a memory fix, but installing it demands special PowerShell parameters in Windows. Since those parameters don’t activate installation in admin mode, I can’t complete the update and lose access to the game. My Windows user account is set as administrator, but I’d like a fix that avoids reinstalling the system.
