For my laptop it seems like it hasn’t been used for gaming a long time, so I assumed it was using an SSD instead of an HDD as my previous model did. My new machine has both an SSD and an HDD, but the SSD is not very large. I considered swapping the HDD for another spare 2.5" SSD, but there are other issues with the laptop that keep it sitting idle until I decide to fix it. As someone who multitasks a lot, I often run over 16GB of RAM and can quickly hit 20+GB while doing photo editing. I even think about skipping the 64GB option for now, though I’m not sure why. Most users would probably stick with 16GB for gaming these days, but I wouldn’t go below that unless it’s a very basic build.
