Stopped the DOCP from running my system.
I recently had to swap out my old Asus PRIME X570-P motherboard about two years ago. The issue started when I attempted to configure the DOCP profile or manually adjusted my RAM speed to 3200. My computer would freeze for roughly three seconds, then restart, shut down again, and repeat this cycle several times before finally booting up. This happened around three times before it worked properly. My system details: CPU – Ryzen 5 5600X, Cooler – Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition 57.3 CFM, RAM – 32 GB (TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB, 2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200, GPU – MSI GAMING X TRIO GeForce RTX 4080, 16 GB video card, Power Supply – EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6 1000 W (80+ Gold, fully modular), Storage – Primary drive Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0, Secondary drive Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0, plus PCI-E to USB 3.0 7-port setup with USB-C and USB-A ports, plus a Ziyituod AX200 WiFi 6 card.
Do you have a choice to set the RAM clock speed to 3000? Yes, you can adjust it. Use the manual settings to input 3000 MHz and change the voltage accordingly. Test it to see how it performs.
It seems the RAM isn't communicating properly with your CPU/MBOO. Test by using only one stick in slot A2 and check if it matches the listed speed. If successful, switch to the other stick and see if it functions correctly. A faulty stick or dual-channel configuration might be the cause. If both single sticks fail, consider trying a different RAM package. Research compatible RAM for your motherboard, and if problems persist, there could be an issue with the motherboard or CPU.
I manage to have two out of four functioning at 3200, while the remaining two are affected.
I didn’t know you were using four sticks. That’s tough on the memory controller. It’s unlikely you’ll reach 3200mhz no matter what RAM you have. You might have to settle for lower speeds (you can probably improve from the stock 2133) or get a two-stick configuration.
Are your system details current? Is your memory configuration listed among the supported options? Have you attempted to adjust your memory settings to 1.4 volts?
I'll attempt it, though. The CPU cooler fan light stays off while the PC runs.
