I rely on B-die memory sticks rated at least B for voltage scaling and overclocking. My motherboard differs from most B450 boards in that it features x6 IR3553 VRMs, eliminating power problems. IMC voltage reads 1.08v when auto is on and XMP is active. I plan to raise it to 1.250v if the IMC becomes strict. Beyond that point, additional CPU heat appears.
I’d prefer to receive it, but shipping to my area right now is really costly due to the pandemic. I’m getting an Aegis kit for a fair price—it has decent low latency and should work well. I just need it to be my first Pokémon, and I have an upgrade plan so it can be as simple as possible at the moment.
NewEgg offers a wide selection and is popular for 3300x and 3600x builds. I'm saving up for another kit too, just in case. It's worth keeping on hand even if not needed immediately. Quality is impressive. You might want to check local stores for the part number.
I’m sure I’ll give it a shot, but everything’s currently out of stock. I’ll probably pick either the B450/B550 or the DS3H. It’s not ideal, but it’s affordable and should handle around 75-100A. I’m just using an Athlon and it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise.
Everything fits with the athlons. The memory controller works well on the right board. I wouldn't go for the gigabyte unless it was top-of-the-line. MSI or Asus are the best choices right now.
