That's incorrect. Hwinfo64 is acceptable. Focus on the actual CPU temperature you're measuring. Also, 1.5v on a stock system with an XFR single-core boost of 4350MHz can sometimes require higher voltage—this is normal. The recommended steps are to update the chipset driver and then the BIOS. Apart from that, 2700x performs well at high voltage after reaching 4.1GHz with manual overclocking. Around 1.410v at that speed is achievable if the cooler supports it. Good luck!

On the ROG board he’d prefer to use the performance enhancer if it’s offered for his setup. Level 3 runs at 4.2ghz while level 4 hits 4.3ghz, creating a significant temperature rise.
