Hello, I created this version about a year ago. Mostly gaming has been fine, but today I wanted to make some changes. I performed a stress test using a small FFT with prime number 95 and the stock configuration (auto settings) to establish a baseline. As soon as I began the test, the BIOS temperature alarm started sounding. I can't say anything about the temperature because I'm trying to reach the reset button. Should I replace the processor? It doesn’t seem unusual with the stock settings. Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Model: Z390 AORUS ELITE BIOS Version F7 (UEFI) Processor: Intel® Core™ i9-9900K @ 3.60GHz (16 cores), ~3.6GHz RAM: 32768MB

Do it again and tell us your temps. Also what cooler are you using?

Don't worry!!! It's just a warning... The CPU can slow down at 100°C. At 115°C the board will power itself off. Try to stay calm. The CPU and board are able to recover on their own. Frequent restarts may harm your operating system. Simply close it using Windows. Make sure the cooler is securely attached.

Don't worry!!! It's just a warning... The CPU can slow down at 100°C. At 115°C the board will power itself off. Try to stay calm. The CPU and board are able to recover on their own. Frequent restarts may harm your operating system. Simply close it using Windows. Make sure the cooler is securely attached.

My temperatures stay steady near 35°C until I begin, then rise sharply to 95 across all processors. The cooler in use is an AIO model from Cooler Master called MasterLiquid ML240L.

Sure thing! So you're saying it's fine but it's tough, and fixing the OS isn't too big a deal compared to hardware issues. You've been tweaking your PCs and reinstalling Windows from Windows 3.1 in the '90s with tons of floppy disks taking a long time.

Sure thing! So you're saying it's fine but it's tough, and fixing the OS isn't too big a deal compared to hardware issues. You've been tweaking your PCs and reinstalling Windows from Windows 3.1 in the '90s with tons of floppy disks taking a long time.

Haha, I've got W98 on the floppy in a stack. It seems like only a few or maybe five floppies of data... But honestly, you probably don't need to do that. You might even be able to turn off the alarm in BIOS. Do you have an RPM reading from the pump? You can look it up in BIOS by checking the header on the board where it's connected.

That’s the only spot that makes sense. I also installed two fans—one at the front blowing inward and another at the back blowing outward.
