I'm a lonely disabled snr of sound mind seeking a PC-based bot for human-like interaction and regular care. While people aren't always available, a machine could help. Would you like me to check if something exists or test for developers?

Begin your search with "Robot Companions" and adjust the terms as needed.
Be cautious of potentially fraudulent sites targeting individuals like yourself.
Never share personal information or money under any circumstances.
I’m not entirely sure the current solutions meet the demands for proper care and support.
Depending on your location, some services might exist to offer help, but be mindful of scams that mimic assistance offers.

I will add that if you install "VoiceAttack" on a Windows PC, then you can program it to respond to voice commands. Not what you are asking, but it is an interface which has audio interaction, and can be used with other software. See:
https://voiceattack.com/Default.aspx
The basic version is free and easy to test. The paid version (which simply allows more commands) is only around $5. It's excellent for gamers, but it has many other uses, especially if you install alternate voices (default is the Windows voice, but that has options).
