Build includes: MSI B450M Pro-VDH max Ryzen 5 1600 XFX Radeon 5700XT Thicc III, 4x 4GB Viper Patriot 3000MHz RAM, Corsair 650W PSU, Samsung 970 (?) SSD. Attempted to enable XMP/AMD profiles and manual adjustments, but speeds didn’t change. No visible updates in BIOS settings despite saving changes. System boots normally without issues. Appreciate your help.

The Ryzen 1st generation stayed well below 2666, usually reaching around 2800, with a few BIOS updates enabling the uncommon 3000 MHz. Consider using 2666.

You might consider installing a BIOS update, though it can sometimes improve RAM stability. As @Shimejii mentioned, older Ryzen models like the first and second generation aren't ideal for memory overclocking or XMP/DOCP settings. Filling all memory slots won't help and could actually strain the IMC further.

This seems to be mainly a CPU problem. I'll attempt it again tomorrow morning.

You can handle 3000–3200 with 2 RAM sticks, but using 4 RAM sticks causes the bed to fail

Perhaps I'll attempt a BIOS upgrade, but I'm unable to adjust the RAM speed beyond 2133. It's locked at that level and I can't modify it to 1866 or 1600.

Disable the CMOS, proceed with the BIOS update.
