Hey there, I see you're having some trouble with your PC. It sounds like you've got a solid build with a 3600MHz CPU, an RX6700XT graphics card, and a decent RAM setup. You mentioned experiencing some issues in 1080p games like CS2, Star Wars BF2, and Delta Force, but you're not sure what's behind it. Your current RAM is XMP up to 3200MT/s at 1.25V, which helps prevent resets when turning off the machine. You've tried a new M.2 Crucial P3 Plus drive and haven't noticed any heat problems. Your friend with an R5 2600X and RX5500XT is getting about 80 FPS more in CS2, which is interesting. It might be worth checking the Windows installation or driver settings, as those can sometimes cause performance hiccups. Let me know if you want more specific tips!

Do you share the same configuration? His RAM specs are different. You have two 8 GB sticks, which could explain the performance boost from the Ryzen 5 3600. Also, look for issues with Windows installation. Regarding frame rate, an 80 fps increase over 100 fps is noticeable compared to lower rates at higher frames.

For Windows - Execute "sfc /scannow" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" via Command Prompt (admin) to repair system files. The impact on FPS may vary slightly, so consider adjusting that setting. Have you or your friend optimized your Windows and driver configurations? For RAM performance, you might attempt updating your MB BIOS and then run the 3600 MT/s option.

You can skip the bios update if needed, but don't worry too much unless your electricity keeps dropping.

Are your chipset drivers current? You might want to press control plus shift plus windows plus b for a fast reset of your GPU drivers.

They were indeed available, and the software was updated successfully.

During your search for a motherboard, you found only an ASRock model, not an MSI one. It seems you're using a PCIe 4.0 card in a PCIe 3.0 slot, which might be causing the reduced frame rate.

I encountered a problem with Adrenalin 25.5.1 on 05-08-2025. I had to go back to a previous version, which improved my PC performance.

25.5.1 presented problems for me too, especially with my 6800 XT. I went back to 25.3.1.

PCI-E speed requirements aren't a concern for the 6700 XT. The PCI-E 3.0 X16 matches up with PCI-E 4.0 X8 in terms of data transfer. Expect only minor FPS gains at best, and game performance should remain stable or within acceptable limits. @antoniobanderas13 Check your CPU and GPU temps. Also, look at your memory kit's XMP settings—voltage and timing are crucial, especially for DDR4-3600 which typically sets to 1.35V.
