It seems the system should automatically detect and mount the disks it finds. If nothing appears in `ls /mnt`, try checking with `lsblk -f` to list all available mountable devices, then use the mount command for the ones you need.

You can reduce the partition size on the live USB and set up a fresh one for transferring files. Alternatively, employ a USB hub to link an additional storage device. You might also rely on an SD card, connect via Wi-Fi to upload to cloud or network storage, or simply remove the back panel to access the drive directly.
