Hi, I've set up Steam OS on an ASUS Eeepc and noticed performance issues. The mouse movement feels delayed by about two seconds, making it choppy. The Linux desktop works fine, but the overall speed is affected. It seems like the problem might be related to hardware limitations rather than software settings.

It might be the hardware issue. Using a dual OS on a small hard drive isn't recommended.

Many think Linux uses very little resources. You can definitely run it on very basic hardware if you prefer a minimal setup and no graphical interface, but if you go that far, switching to Windows would be just as feasible.
