It's quite challenging. Similar to other witcher titles, the demands are high. Indeed, the graphics are top-notch. Each of these games has maintained this standard over time. Just adjust the settings, similar to how you would for any title that doesn<|pad|>'s hardware to handle at ultra. The main difference from Batman is the inability to improve performance regardless of settings. Players of Batman report no gains in any configuration. A Titan X would need to run at 100+ for a smooth experience, but it often drops to 50-60fps.
Do you actually read signatures? I play Witcher 3 at 5K DSR around 40FPS. What I meant is that people don't have to hit 60FPS in every game. Some titles work well at lower frame rates, and even 30FPS is acceptable for certain ones. I see on PCMR Reddit people act like 60 is the gold standard, but honestly 60Hz feels terrible for action games.
I agree, but I can't say that for most games. Mortal kombat is fine at 30fps. But witcher 3, even with a controller, sucks with 30fps. I haven't played batman but if people are making this big of a fuss out of it then there must be problems. I've seen videos of the game completely locking up for 10-20 seconds at a time. That is why people boycotted the game. Not just because of it being 30fps.
I understand, I won't purchase it until the issue is resolved. Batman Origins was priced at $6.99 during the Steam Summer Sale in 2014, but it launched on October 25th, 2014 for $59.99.
I recently purchased it from g2a, and it worked just fine—though it doesn’t seem to function properly.
It wasn't only that issue—on a 4690k with a 970 and solid overclock, my game would crash every twenty minutes. The controller worked inconsistently and the sound would freeze most of the time. Still, my frame rate stayed around 55-60.
They're teasing us for the game issues while they're using high performance settings with visual effects.
It wasn't hard to find a better rain effect on the launch. Still, my copy was free, so I won't grumble too much, but I get why people feel frustrated about constantly fixing games on the go. By then, it's been weeks, and I'm hoping they put in more work to fix the issue. Apart from the many Batmobile missions, it's actually a decent game overall.
