when you list your items on steam, they mention a 15% fee on the sale price. however, if you sell something for just three cents, you only receive one cent after the charge. this seems to be significantly higher than the stated 15%, making it around 66%. what’s happening?

For an item priced at $1.00, the tax works out based on a 5% market rate and varying taxes depending on the game—like 10% for TF2, meaning the item should be worth about 85 cents. SCM also charges on items as low as 3 cents.
