Pmsl, they support 4K displays and could handle video playback—have you ever played games in 4K on a phone? Also, computers are much more capable than what you'd find on a mobile device.

It's evident that PCs hold greater strength. My main focus is on their swift advancements, suggesting they could match desktop capabilities within just five years. The mobile sector faces intense rivalry compared to desktops, and it's expanding at an exceptionally fast pace.

The progress of PCs continues; once mobile devices match modern PC capabilities, they will have to keep up with the latest desktop models.

In ten years I might bet that PCs will only matter for servers and heavy tasks. It all depends on how far ahead you think. In five years they’ll still lead, but by ten? I’m not sure. I’d also wager mobile chips will cover everything.

I've observed how PCs have changed since the early nineties. They'll remain functional 10 years from now. Within just over two decades they progressed from a 40MHz 386 processor with 8MB RAM and hard drives nearing 80MB to devices featuring significantly stronger CPUs, memory capacities exceeding 32GB, dedicated graphics cards, and terabytes of storage.
