Currently, no one believes PC gaming is fading away. This view was common when the last console generation launched, even top developers predicted a drop in PC sales. However, PC gaming has reversed its course and grown consistently. The efforts of Valve plus Steam have likely contributed most to the current PC revival we experience today.

There are around 500,000 of those being purely CS:GO trading bots.

It clearly shows PC gaming remains strong despite what might seem like signs otherwise.

It depends on how many individuals Gaben reaches and whether developers follow Konami's example.

In 2013, PSN had around 110 million users while Xbox reported about 40 million. I think the Xbox figure is more reliable since it’s paid and fake accounts are fewer. Claims that consoles will disappear are overblown. PC gaming might fade eventually, but with mobile devices handling most games, it could become less relevant.

Pushing performance on ARM devices is challenging, especially when trying to limit battery life and work with a small display.

Have you noticed how much phones have advanced over the past five years? They used to only support 320P screens, now they’re delivering 4K quality like it’s a big change. It’s been incredible progress. Back then, I could easily connect them to the wall and TV for streaming or watching. There’s no point in not having a dock for my desk either.
