Hi, there is an issue with my Steam account. I have the L4Dead installed, but suddenly Steam lost my installation and asked me to reinstall the game. The first installation files are on my hard drive. How can I re-link the installation path? I don’t want to download 10 GB again. If I start the game from the shortcut directly, I get an error saying "-insecured" can’t access VAC secure servers. Why is that happening?

Connect the installation directory to the SteamAPPS folder of the game's setup. It will search for the game's files if available, confirm them, and let you start playing afterward.
