Hello! I’m considering a steam link and controller but sometimes prefer relaxing on the couch instead of sitting close to the monitor. Would you suggest pairing a steam link with a steam controller or look for another option? At the UK store, I can pick up the controller, link, and a 20 quid steam card for £99.

Its a great product, ordered mine last night You can use ANY spare PC at home for streaming so if there are any spare desktops or laptops etc then that would work, potentially you could stream to an Android device too, or get an Nvidia shield device You can also stream to like chromecast and Apple TV with 3rd party software but its not so reliable from experiance!!!

For those with higher earnings, Steamlink offers a solid option and comes at an affordable price. Chromecast works well too—it connects to any TV and lets you stream content easily. The latest audio versions upgrade old hifi setups and dock stations into a modern Sonos setup without breaking the bank. I only used it briefly, so opinions are mixed. Personally, I favor the traditional Xbox controller, though the new Steampad is excellent for mouse-based games.

Steam connection. It works best when you have several PCs available. I planned to check the controller quality since that interests me.

It’s meant to feel quite unique during the first run-through, but you’ll adapt over time!

Is it confusing how you link your TV in the living room with your PC and stream content? You seem to be asking why you need more than one PC when most people don’t.

Have you considered the data controller? I’d like one, and I’m looking for a solid reason to purchase one. Haha! But honestly, I’m just curious about its quality.

I haven’t had enough time to fully review them yet. I’ve placed orders for both and a comprehensive evaluation will come soon. I’m not convinced about the touch pads; I favor the sticks, though they work well for games like Civ or RTS titles since the analog stick is really poor in those contexts. Honestly, I’ll stick with my old wireless 360 pad most of the time—after about ten years of use.
