Hi, I noticed the same issue when I opened my laptop. The error appears every time I click on CSGO via the shortcut, and it also happens when I go directly to STEAM. The Steam app keeps showing this message. It’s been happening repeatedly, and I’m having trouble opening it. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The shortcut no longer functions as expected, likely because the link to Steam isn't recognized. It appears the connection between this shortcut and your Steam library has been removed from the Windows registry, suggesting a possible installation issue.

Yes, it's best to reinstall Steam completely.

It looks like Steam isn't accepting the launch link. Try reinstalling it to check if the issue resolves.

That seems like the simplest option, right?

Right after the reinstall, it appears here.

Did you set up Steam on the C drive? Can you launch Explorer and check for a Steam.exe file there? Currently your shortcut points to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe", but it looks like the actual file isn't there. If you placed it elsewhere, you'll need to adjust the shortcut. If you installed it on C:, it might indicate a problem with your Windows setup.
