So I owned a PC with two SSDs. After C:/ was fully filled, I began installing my games on D:/. Now, I'm setting up a new PC and installed Windows 10 on D:/, but the games remain there. Steam still marks them as uninstalled. I want to prevent the 500 go downloads since I already have them on the SSD. Anyone has a suggestion?

Was das Verzeichnis zur Liste der Steam-Library-Ordner hinzugefügt, damit diese automatisch alle Spiele darin erkennen und als installiert anzeigen?

Consider launching Steam with admin privileges. If the games indicate a backup, it probably points to a file access problem.

Placing windows on any drive letter other than C can be problematic. Older requirements may cause issues later. To fix your Steam problem, attempt to begin the download, pause it, move the game files to a new folder, and resume the process.

Consider installing a game on the designated folder for games, as this will allow Steam to locate all other titles there. Ensure you allocate sufficient space—at least 10%—across all drives. If the primary drive is nearly full, consider relocating a few games.

Navigate to steam settings/downloads/steam library folders... Insert libraryfolder and direct it to your Steam apps folder on the other drive, keep in mind that Steam generates a subfolder named 'common' so ensure all files are placed there.
Now it comes to pressing the install button, specifying the right location will let it locate the files and download any missing ones.
I had to go through this process for more than 160 games... it took hours since you can only work on one at a time.

You misunderstood the setup. I installed Windows 10 on my 2CND SSD, but the drive location changed from D:/ to C:/ on my new PC while keeping both systems at one SSD each.
