Steam is having a big sale once more this winter.
Have you ever spent some time just scrolling through the stores? Look around Steam Store because it's the best place to play, talk about games, and make new ones. The link is store.steampowered.com I'm looking for that little hidden treasure among all the big names in AAA games. Feel free to tell me what you've found
What a chance! I was just looking at STEAM's page and found the Winter sale section. Maybe I'll get these games, but I haven't decided yet. Red Dead Redemption 2 sounds pretty good as a big AAA title. It's 67% off right now. I just tried the first two levels on my friend's PC. The graphics were amazing, the voice acting was great, and the story setting felt real. Deathloop feels like it could be a bit old for me since I can't access my old Steam account that linked to this game. So I'll get this cool FPS again once more. But yes, I've beaten this game before though. Crysis 3 is similar, right? Yeah, I know it's very old, but I lost the password to my old account. So I'll get this awesome shooter back now. Already have tried and won this game before too. Battlefield 4 is on my wish list too. Assassin's Creed Valhalla feels like a love at first sight because of the Nordic/Viking vibe. Back 4 Blood looks interesting, it's 70% off. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) has been around forever so I guess they couldn't drop the price much on this one anyway. It is still very expensive to buy, $60 USD in fact all COD games have not seen a big price cut recently. They never do that. Damn greedy Activision. The above game is new enough for me to understand why they didn't lower the price tag, but it's not THAT good either. Reviews and feedback are kind of mixed mostly on the negative side though. But COD games still sell like crazy mainly because of the Multiplayer part. I only play the Single Player campaign story mode actually. What games are you looking for in this sale?
I feel pretty sick when I play action shooter games because they make me feel bad inside so quickly. I prefer adventure games from a third person view, but I don't want to spend all day walking around just trying not to die from the weather or other stuff. It's kind of popular though, and it doesn't really interest me much. My favorite thing is probably hack n slash games. I loved Dark Souls and similar ones. Just like button mashing and getting some crazy combos too. I still play my old RTS games but nothing new seems to be making an effort to keep them fresh. The Dawn of War series was awesome, Command & Conquer was also fun.
So maybe you've played Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, NIOH, Sekiro, or the Dynasty Warriors series before. I actually really enjoy playing one of those games called Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It is a great hack and slash game!
Hey, I want to buy Mass Effect: Andromeda for my PC because there is a big discount right now. Is that deal good enough to get it? What do you guys say about it? I've never played Andromeda before, though. My other games like ME1, ME2, and ME3 are all in my library and I beat them already. But for Andromeda, people have mixed reviews. I think the developers changed how they play the main Mass Effect stuff as well?
I got free copies of items number one, two, and three back in January but I never actually played them. Now I want to try this new thing too so I can get all the items for my library. I already own Dragon Age: Inquisition's base game which comes with a nice bundle that has all the extra stuff included. It was under $10 so i'd grab it just because. Some people read good things about Andromeda saying the fighting is different and you have more room to move your character, but nobody said it ruined the game for everyone, only that it feels like a change from the first three items.
oops, I haven't played that kind of thing since day one, and now it is totally a new game. But hey, it looks kinda fun. Since this one works from third person, I could definitely just pick up the controller and play it on its own without any trouble.
I have only played Just Cause 2 and 3. I heard somewhere that JC 4 isn't that good of a game, and the keyboard settings are all over the place, like, no thanks to it. Some keys on my keyboard even do more than one thing at once, which causes conflicts. I'm not sure if the latest update fixes some of these key issues or lets me assign them differently. Otherwise, I'm not going to touch this unsmooth game. Even some quest scripts are broken and buggy, stopping me from progressing through the story. Maybe the game's story and setting are actually pretty cool, but these technical bugs break the feeling of being in a world. It's a pity that developers release unfinished games nowadays.
