I'm trying to use the "Cinema" game mode in Garry's Mod, but it needs Adobe Flash Player to function. I have Flash installed, though it doesn't seem to recognize it. The server instructions suggest selecting "Other browsers" during download, but Adobe doesn't list Flash here—only Chrome, Opera, IE, and Firefox are mentioned. Anyone know how to make Adobe Flash work for Steam? Thanks for the guide: http://store.steampowered.com/gotflash and links provided.

I think there is a standalone version available. Not just for browsers. It gives you the option to choose 64/32bit etc. I'd give you the link but I'm currently on mobile. EDIT: I'm sorry I mixed it up with Java.

I haven’t got Flash Player set up on my computer anymore. Even though I still rely on Adobe Flash CS6, I’m now using Shockwave Flash through Chrome.

It turns out you were close. I found a link that suggested downloading Adobe Flash 13 for other browsers.

I stumbled upon a "different browser" option on the Adobe forums, specifically version 13. It doesn’t matter much since it’s functional.
