Steam Controller overlay radial menu color reversed
Steam Controller overlay radial menu color reversed
I encountered an issue with the overlays on the Steam controller. All recent overlays appear in inverted colors. No suggestions were found online, and Steam itself didn’t provide any help. I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. It used to function perfectly for years. Usually it shows black with colored items and descriptions now turn white. https://imgur.com/a/8udelbQ View: https://imgur.com/a/8udelbQ
Is the issue limited to Steam?
Can you give more details and examples of what needs to be displayed and what is currently shown?

Check Windows > Accessibility > Contrast Themes
Personalizations.
Also examine Accessibility > Vision
Or similar settings or tools in Steam.

Corrupted overlays?
Are you able to re-download the Overlays?
If HDR is active, consider turning it off to test improvement. Also, do you have any skins installed for your Steam overlay or app?
Here is the rewritten version:
The image you shared shows the overlay Steam provides for controllers, allowing keybindings for any inputs on your controller. You can customize features such as a virtual menu with various options. In the first picture, you’ll see the bottom left corner as it should appear in-game. The second picture displays the actual in-game layout. When you start the game and use the controllers’ touchpad, you get a rotation wheel that reflects your keybindings. All games and programs run properly, and I haven’t encountered any visual issues.
I’ve used Steam Controller settings since ages and never faced such a problem.

So you designed that 10-item skill overlay in 2/2 format, but it lacks colors and icons—just white. Is this the intended look? What control settings exist for backgrounds, fill, and icon colors? How do the other three screens (General, Onscreen Display, Haptic) appear? Are there any options to adjust icons, fonts, or background colors? Unfortunately, I can't interact with those controls directly. Still, I've encountered cases where white text appears on a white background, which is unusual. If possible, could you reset the redial menus to their default settings and begin the customization again?
If i create a new overlay for another game the same thing happens.
In the screenshot above - both images come from one game but the colors look overly saturated.
The white one appeared on a different game.
There is a video someone made showing how to create such an overlay: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UdTmcXkFGw
I’m pretty sure it’s not a wrong setting.
I made the overlay a few years ago and colors change from day to day without me making any changes.
It must be something else, but I don’t know what it causes.
I think i should contact steamsupport.
But thanks for your help anyway, maybe you have an idea about this saturation issue.
I will check here daily.
