Checked the synaptic manager or Steam's site. The product page mentions availability on Mac and Linux.

Testing it on Fedora here... Setting it up on Linux is actually straightforward. There are multiple options available. You can open the terminal and run commands to install it, such as Ubuntu using sudo apt-get install steam or Fedora using sudo dnf install steam. If those don’t work, you’ll need to add the repository that hosts it—Steam was included in RPM Fusion for me. You can also download a deb file and install it directly from there. Alternatively, Steam’s website lets you download what you need by visiting their Linux store at https://store.steampowered.com/about. Just click the green button, and you’re ready to go (or skip the effort).
